The Story Behind The Story

Yesterday I was reading the news and I saw that a man from my home state of Connecticut was selling a piece of sheet metal on eBay, Story Here. Now, this was no ordinary piece of sheet metal.... this has an oil stain with an image of Jesus Christ in it! To avoid the bidding war you can "Buy It Now" for only $10,000!! I often wondered what kind of nutcase would try and make a quick buck doing this sort of thing, and after doing a little bit of research I got my answer. The sellers eBay account has a eBay rating of (7). If you click on that (7) you can see all the transactions he's had in the last 6 months and wouldn't you know it, most of the items are for women's underwear and plus size lingerie. Not only that but he also has three transactions marked private from a seller named "fullmoon intimates". lol.... Nice.

That Awkward Silence

So I'm a little excited. Here I am surfing the net before heading for work and I just found out that Team Canada's game against the Russians today doesn't start until 2:30PM, and since I work from 6AM to 2PM everyday this will be the first game I really get to see the Olympic mens team play. Sweeeeet.

On a side note, I do realize that I have roughly 6 to 8 months to catch up on but I think it's that type of task that deterred me from posting in the first place. So I'm going to pretend that there was an awkward silence, like when somebody farts in an elevator, and just move on as if nothing happened.
