Peek-a-boo.... guess who?

Why does time fly by so damn fast? Every time I look at this blog I'm 6 to 8 weeks behind and I have no idea how that's even possible.

Well Julie and I made it back to Vancouver to attend my sister's wedding, congratulations once again Ann and Steven! It was a beautiful wedding that had the ceremony at a chapel in Stanley Park and then the reception at the Pan Pacific... which is normally a place where I couldn't get a job being the door man.

It was a great chance to see (and introduce to Julie) relatives that I haven't seen in years and to also meet Steven's family. Everybody had a great time and everybody was really nice and eager to talk to us. I think it was even better chatting with Steven's family during the rehersal dinner in a more casual and relaxed atmosphere.... instead of during the wedding when Ann and Steven were constantly interupting us with "Uhh, pay attention please, we're like.... getting married here!!" ;)

I guess planning a wedding wasn't challenging enough for these two so they decided to buy a townhouse and move in during the same week of the wedding. Are they crazy?!?! Yes, I think they just might be. Oh well, everything went off perfectly and I'm very happy and proud for my sister and her husband. Welcome to the family Steve, you are the brother I always needed when defending myself from Ann while growing up ;) Best wishes to you both.
